The Vango Faros is a superb drive-away awning, which has been in the collection for many years, offering a versatile and convenient solution for increasing the living space and comfort of any low-line camper van. It features an inflatable design, allowing it to be pitched and set down quickly, making it ideal for touring or weekend campers. Manufactured with polyester to create a shelter to protect from the elements, whilst still being lightweight and compact enough for touring campers. The awning has been upgraded for the new camping season, with a more robust 150 Denier polyester fabric, which still retains great lightweight properties but offers greater durability. The Faros III also has a large connecting panel to attach to the camper van, with doors on either side for quick hassle-free access into the habitation door of the vehicle.

Drive-Away Design - the Faros is a free-standing unit, and the connecting panel can be disconnected from the van and rolled away, allowing the use of the vehicle for the day.
Sewn-in Groundsheet throughout the living space, with a drop-down front door for wheelchairs or pram access. The drop-down groundsheet on the front door does not zip to the flysheet but toggles up to the flysheet door.
Airbeam Design - 10cm depth beams, which are simple and effective to pitch.

Van Compatibility: The perfect choice for VW Transporter, Mercedes Vito, Ford Torneo, or similar. The connecting panel can meet 180-210cm in height. The Faros III can fit onto either the driver's or passenger's side of the van depending on where the habitation door resides.
Methods of Attachment:
Pre Attached Kador Rail 6mm - slides straight into a rail, or wind out awning. (Fiamma Requires a 4mm Drive Away Kit). Purchase a drive-away kit for the ability to be able to drive off-site.
Velcro Straps - easily attach to roof bars should the van have these.
Sleeve for Pole and Clamp Kit to allow for older styles of van which have a gutter fitted to the side of the van.
8M Storm Straps - can be thrown over the vehicle and pegged down the other side.
